Ayurveda believes that beauty comes from within. What we eat & how we think strongly impacts how we look. So Ayurveda considers internal & external well-being to be equally important. Eating healthy, sleeping well, breathing deeply & moving fine is the key to glowing skin.

Ayurveda teaches us that each individual is unique, and so is their skin type. What works for one person may not work for another. Vata, Pitta & Kapha are three types of dosha (mind-body type) in Ayurveda. To maintain the health of your skin along with improving its texture, here are a few skin care tips personalized according to your dominant dosha type.

About Dr Dixa Bhavsar:
I am a Qualified and practicing Ayurveda Doctor from India. Ayurveda, literally science (knowledge) of life, continues to mesmerize me with its focus on prevention rather than being just a ‘treatment modality’.

Ayurveda covers all aspects of lifestyle –  dincharya (daily regime), ritucharya (seasonal regime), ratricharya (night regime), pathya-apathya (do’s and dont’s). It has certainly influenced me personally – After being diagnosed with hypothyroidism three years ago, i turned to Ayurveda to recover from it and my experience has only served to strengthen my belief in Ayurveda.
Through my Ayurveda practice, I am convinced that mine is not an isolated example and that Ayurveda will continue to gain mainstream acceptance in the years to come.
